Meet the Coach

My philosophy

So many men get to mid-life tired, flabby, and out of options. Their hobbies crumble under the grind of life and kids. The spring in their step fades to a dull trudge.

I help people who have lost that spring—driven professionals and busy parents who have spent the last decade or two grinding, and are now feeling burnout, stiffness, and exhaustion. Together, as coach and client, we recharge your batteries so you have the energy for work, family, and the kind of leisure that actually restores you.

About

My wife and I have followed our passions for hiking and skiing across the country—from the festivities of New Orleans to the peaks of Colorado, from the green hills of Tennessee to the lakes of Montana. Along the way we reveled and played, worked and saved, ate and drank in delight.

Before all that, I was slowly getting out of shape. Not obese, but gaining just enough weight that my pants started to feel tight, much earlier in life than I expected. I hadn’t given much thought to what or how I ate. I just ate. Eventually, I wanted a real change.

Through a primal realignment, I discovered how to reset my metabolism through food and habit. Since then I’ve found energy and joy in eating, living, and moving in a more ancestral way—and I’ve learned how to keep that lifestyle going through the joys and challenges of parenthood.

In my professional life, I’ve always gravitated toward teaching and helping others. I’m fortunate now to bring that forward as a coach, guiding clients to build strength, stamina, and resilience so they can keep up with the life they care about most—on the trail, on the ski hill, and at home with their families.
